Megalon (closed Mouth) Figure

MEGALON (Closed Mouth) Figure from Y-MSF - 6 inches - 2009 (Extremely Rare!) "Megalon...Megalon...wake up, Megalon! Come on, rise up now! To the Earth's surface, destroy the Earth, destroy our enemies, rise up!" And with that great motivational speech from the ruler of Seatopia, Megalon was dispatched upon the citizens of Japan...until he and his buddy Gigan ran into a roadblock in the form of the dynamic duo of Godzilla and Jet Jaguar! This is the extremely hard-to-find closed-mouth figure of Megalon, released by the Japanese toy company Y-MSF back in 2009. He is made of lightweight vinyl - this vinyl is much thinner than the material used on your average Bandai vinyl. Nevertheless the sculpt on this figure is amazing and is more movie-accurate than some of the better-known Bandai kaiju figures. Just look at the pics I uploaded - if you've seen Godzilla vs. Megalon as many times as I have you will no doubt be just as impressed as I was when I bought the figure about ten years ago. Megalon is 6 inches tall, though he will no doubt appear shorter than any other 6-inch kaiju figure you may already have because of his stance. He is leaning forward, with his head tilted downwards and his legs spread apart. (It's a little reminiscent of the scene in Godzilla vs. Megalon where Megalon is looking at Jet Jaguar right before the robot grows to Megalon's size.) Megalon is mostly charcoal black, with yellowish-orangish wings, golden eyes, and yellowish-brownish antennae. His shoulder areas have the same color pattern as his wings. His drill arms, mouth, toes, head horn, and tail horns are a dark silver. Articulation: Though it appears that the head, arms, legs, and tail rotate I would not suggest rotating them all the way around because I feel like something might break or you'll end up scratching the figure by rubbing one body part against the other.
