G.I. Joe 25th Unreleased Canceled Resolute Roadblock Pre Production

You are looking at one G.I. Joe 25th Anniversary Unreleased Roadblock Prototype figure based on his appearance in the G.I.Joe: Resolute animated series.
Roadblock has hand painted legs, hands and vest as well as off colored joints and pins. He has the factory and designer markings to denote which factory and the specific paint/sculpt versions of the figure.
His kneepads are a different color than the eventual multi pack release. The vest has the dark green wash applied, likely a designer's attempt to see what a different color option might look like.
I added the factory accessories for display purposes, he only came with the stand from my contact in China.
A brief history:
Hasbro's design team was working on future waves 14-16, and likely beyond, of the 25th Anniversary line. They planned to include versions of characters from the animated series in the next few waves. Those waves were shelved when emphasis pivoted to the Rise of Cobra movie line.
Known figures planned for those waves were: Baroness(blue instead of the gray/black), Destro(with mechanical arm), Snake Eyes (reused in the RoC line as "City Strike" SE), Scarlett with black accents, Alternate Paint Colors Roadblock, Storm Shadow and Resolute Alley Viper.  This prototype version differs from the eventual boxed set release in paint colors, and even the prototypes of the boxed set version. I have prototypes of both in my personal collection.
Please look closely at the pictures of this rare prototype version, as this is the exact piece you'll be adding to your collection. One has not been offered on eBay in nearly 10 years.
Acquired over a decade ago from my contact in one of Hasbro's overseas factories.
