As a lifelong fan of Mego action figures (going back to a wee lad in 1973), I have wanted to do custom Mego figures and accessories. So here we are! This is a CUSTOM Bat-Man of the Golden Age Earth Two... New 8 inch Mego body with retro style head, removable cowl and boots from Dr Mego (genuine vintage Mego quality), with a seamstress sewn (by my meticulous wife) suit as close to the original comic book look as we can get. Body is brand new Mego (taken from Teen Wolf) for this custom. It is a nice weight typical of these new Mego bodies (prior to the new bandless bodies) Since this first appearance version of Batman had purple hand gloves, the hands have been painted purple. Belt is a simple Mego Robin belt from the 1970s. Very wide cape with a shallow scallop. Since Batman carried a pistol back in his early appearances, he has one here (to shoot gas pellets, no doubt) Chest emblem is custom heat press transfer. NOT a sticker! I have him in a NEW Mego 50th Anniversary box (unaltered and original) Please see pictures for more detail
